[ About Dr. bisleen

My passion for health and wellness stems from my struggles as a teenager with depression. Having depression sucked. It affected my ability to think, to my ability to maintain healthy relationships, and everything in between.


I was able to revolutionize my life by implementing a holistic approach where I worked on optimizing both my mind and body at the same time to feel good.  Through my journey, I realized that every single one of us has the ability to achieve great mental health if get the right support.

I went from being a depressed, suicidal teenager who had no confidence and was stuck in an unhealthy relationship, to being a Naturopathic Doctor helping other people master their mental health, running 2 impactful businesses, finding an incredible partner, and loving the heck out of myself. 

I have a 4-year undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo in Life Sciences with a Minor in Biology. After that, I completed by 4-year Naturopathic Doctorate degree the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where I received specific training in supporting people with mood disorders. I have also  additional certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. 

My mission is now to help as many people as possible achieve great mental health using a holistic approach. When I am not empowering, educating & inspiring other people you can find me running, reading the next best self-help book, or playing with my doggo Java.
